The purpose of Beauty from Ashes Ministries is to minister to widow as they go through the grieving process and beyond. Beauty from Ashes meets every widow right where they are in their grief journey. We do this by offering a monthly support group, Life after Loss group, workshops that encourage and empower widows, socials, and events. Beauty from Ashes Ministries is a faith-based ministry that supports, encouages, and empowers widows as they are going through the grief journey, and as they begin to discover what God can do with a heart that is His. In 1 Corinthians it says to comfort others with the comfort that we have been given, and the desire is to remind widows how much God truly loves them and still has a beautiful plan for their lives. "He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.” (Isaiah 61:3)
