Young Lives

YoungLives is the branch of the Young Life organization focused on serving pregnant and parenting teen girls. Young Life/YoungLives is a non-profit non-denominational worldwide christian youth organization. Our mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. YoungLives staff and mentors go to where kids are, build bridges of authentic friendship, and introduce them to Jesus Christ. In the process, we provide fun, adventurous, life-changing experiences! Be a volunteer mentor and make a difference in the life of local teen moms! We are looking for committed adults (25 years and older) in our community to hang out with teenagers and share the love of God with them. We ask that all mentors be actively attending a local church, growing in their relationship with the Lord, and commit to serving for 2 years to build mentor/mentee relationships. Requirements: interview with local Young Life/YoungLives staff, share your written testimony & 2 character references, pass a background check and driver’s questionnaire, agree to Young Life’s mission, values, statement of faith, conduct policies and confidentiality agreement (can be found at younglife.org).
